Pakistan Railways has unveiled new air-conditioned bathrooms for the public at Lahore Railway Station under public-private partnership.
The luxurious bathrooms feature various facilities including hand sanitizers, automated hand dryers and hot water geysers. There is also designated place for changing the diapers of babies while facility of shampoo and fresh towels would also be available for travellers.
A dedicated staff has also been appointed to ensure cleanliness in the bathrooms. There are separate sections from male and female passengers.
Fee for Bathroom Facilities at Lahore Railways Stations
Travellers can use the air-conditioned bathroom facilities by paying a nominal fee of Rs50.
Future Plan
The Pakistan Railways has planned to launch the similar high-end restroom facilities at thirteen other stations across the country.
