CM Ali Amin Gandapur Restores Health Card for All in KP

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has reinstated the health card for the entire population of the province, suspended by the caretaker government.

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, where it was announced that free treatment under the health card scheme would resume for 100% of the province’s population starting from the 1st of Ramadan.

To support this initiative, an immediate allocation of Rs 5 billion was made to the State Life Insurance Company. This funding will facilitate the restoration of free treatment services under the health card scheme.

Additionally, it was decided to allocate five billion rupees per month to clear the arrears owed by the State Life Insurance Company.

Gandapur reiterated that the welfare of the people remains a top priority for the provincial government, following peace and order. He emphasized the importance of the health card scheme as a significant public welfare initiative, reaffirming its continuity without compromise.
