The Sindh government on Friday announced new timings for offices ahead of the holy month of Ramadan likely to begin on Monday, March 11.
Today, the provincial government’s Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department released a notification unveiling new office timings. During Ramadan, government offices will operate five or six days a week based on their designated schedules.
For offices operating five days a week, the timings will be from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 10 AM to 1 PM on Fridays. Meanwhile, offices operating six days a week will observe timings from 10 AM to 3 PM Monday through Thursday and Saturday, with Fridays closing at 1 PM.
These adjusted timings apply to all government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the government of Sindh, excluding essential services.
Moreover, the Balochistan government announced new office timings for Quetta. Regular office hours will be from 9 AM to 3 PM, with Fridays concluding at 1 PM. For offices operating six days a week, Ramadan timings will be from 9 AM to 2 PM on regular days and closing at 12 PM on Fridays.
