The anticipated 5G technology launch, scheduled for July 2024, received detailed attention from Dr. Saif. He reassured the industry by addressing telecom companies’ concerns about the allocated 300 MHz spectrum for 5G services, illustrating a commitment to a seamless transition. Under his leadership, the government actively resolves outstanding issues, with plans for a dedicated telecommunication tribunal set to be established within three weeks, expediting dispute resolution within the sector.
