Iran foreign ministry spokesman said Tehran expectation is that temporary ceasefire will lead to permanent one and atrocities of Israel would end.
Tehran (ISNA) – Iran foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani said on Monday that Tehran is in contact with other parties to make ceasefire in Gaza Permanent.
Speaking in weekly press conference, Kan’ani in response to ending four day ceasefire in Gaza, said: Our expectation is that the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza will be completely stopped and the temporary ceasefire will enter into a stable process.
“We are in contact and consultation with the regional parties. One of the goals of negotiations is that the temporary ceasefire would enter into a sustainable process and the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Palestine and Gaza will not be repeated”.
Referring to recent Iran Foreign minister to Qatar and consultation about ceasefire in Gaza, Kanani said: “The government of Qatar is making serious efforts in this regard and conducted various consultations. We hope that the current ceasefire will take on a stable aspect”.
Four day temporary Ceasefire in Gaza with mediation of Qatar and Egypt come into force from Friday and since then some prisoners exchanged between Hamas and Israel.
