Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the life, wealth and welfare of a Pakistani citizen is ahead of any other country and any worldly interest.
A meeting of the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan was held under the chairmanship of the Caretaker Prime Minister, in which the illegal immigrants have been given a deadline of November 1 to leave the country.
The Apex Committee decided to continue the zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, to continue strict action against terrorism and its facilitators.
It was decided in the meeting that the foreigners residing illegally in the country will be obliged to sell their assets and return to their homeland by the deadline of November 1. After the deadline, the foreigners will be deported and their properties will be confiscated.
According to the sources, the Army Chief emphasized in the meeting that “the life and welfare of a Pakistani citizen comes before any other country and any worldly interest.”
He said that Pakistan has no other option but to face the challenges, we will go to any extent to establish the writ of the state.
In the meeting, the Army Chief also read this poem by poet Allama Iqbal that “If you don’t understand, you will be erased, O people of India, your stories will not be in the stories”.
Giving a briefing after the meeting, Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said that after November 1, all illegal resident foreigners will be deported, Pakistan is the only country where foreigners come even without a passport.
