Ambassador-designate of the People’s Republic of China, Jiang Zaidong, officially presented his diplomatic credentials to President Arif Alvi in a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to the details, this significant diplomatic step reaffirms the strong and enduring ties between China and Pakistan, underlining their commitment to furthering bilateral cooperation and friendship.
Jiang Zaidong, who assumed his duties on September 5, was warmly welcomed by Pakistani officials and representatives of the Embassy upon his arrival in Islamabad. His credentials will soon be presented to President Arif Alvi in a formal ceremony.
