KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) staff caught the biggest tax fraud worth billions in the country’s history.
In this regard, FBR sources say that tax fraud was caught by the team of the Director General of Internal Audit in Inland Revenue, a fake company called KH & Sons committed tax fraud of Rs 314 billion.
According to the sources, the said company exists in the documents but it does not exist in reality, the fraudulent company was registered in the name of anonymous person Muhammad Kashif.
The fake business of Iron and Steel was revealed in the company documents, for registration the company wrote the address of Liaquat Market, Agiri Market, MA Jinnah Road Market Karachi.
The fake company was used for several illegal purposes, FBR has not yet registered any case even after revealing the fraud of 314 billion rupees.
