The Islamic Republic of Iran values Saudi Arabia’s role in the region: Hossein Amir Abdullahian

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has said that the restoration of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran is an important moment for regional security.
Addressing a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdullahian in Riyadh, Prince Faisal said that Saudi Arabia is keen to strengthen bilateral relations with Iran.
He added that Saudi Arabia is keen to activate the security and economic agreements reached with Iran. He thanked Iran for supporting Saudi Arabia’s efforts to host World Expo 2030.
Hussain AmirAbdullahyan described the talks in Riyadh as fruitful. He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran values the role of Saudi Arabia in the region and the two countries can work together to solve the long-standing regional problems.
