The US State Department is committed to an orderly relationship with China

Beijing: US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of his visit to China.

In the meeting between the two personalities, important discussions were held regarding the strengthening of US-China relations, including matters of mutual interest.

The spokesperson of the US Department of State says that in the important meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping, the US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken convinced him that it is the responsibility of Washington and Beijing to manage the relations between the two countries.

Earlier, Antony Blanken had a meeting with his Chinese counterpart which was also attended by the State Consul of China. The meeting saw substantive and constructive discussions, with Antony Blanken emphasizing that all channels of communication and discussion on issues should be kept open.

It should be remembered that the US Secretary of State was supposed to visit China in February this year, but he postponed his February visit after the presence of a suspected Chinese balloon in US airspace. Anthony Blanken is the first top US official to visit China on behalf of the Biden administration
