Rawalpindi: Security forces have killed 3 terrorists while conducting an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence operation in Lusam area of Bajaur, three terrorists were killed during the operation.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were involved in extortion, killing of forces and civilians in the area, a large number of weapons and bullets have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
According to ISPR, the local people have appreciated the anti-terror operation and pledged full cooperation with the security forces against terrorism.
Earlier today, CTD arrested 6 terrorists involved in the suicide blast at Takht Beg police check post in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar, the arrested terrorists attacked Takht Beg police check post in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a result of which two policemen were martyred.
It should be remembered that on January 19 of this year, a suicide bomber fired and exploded at the Takhta Beg check post, as a result of which 3 people, including 2 policemen, were martyred.
