In a dire need of cash, and dollar crunch with little help of getting it soon, this incumbent government has decided to give more perks and allowences to FBR.
Officers will get an allowance of up to 40 thousand rupees per month in the name of headquarters support allowance, while they will be allowed to buy equipment worth up to 30 lakh rupees for temporary accommodation, sources said.
Islamabad: It has been decided to give more privileges to the officers of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). But Islamabad has yet to decide how to stop our youths leaving this cousntry for search of jobs. By the amount this government will incur due to giving such bonanza to FBR these youth can be accomodated with opeing new jobs for them and put the money there.
According to the sources, it has been decided to establish a common pool fund for the officers of FBR grades 17 to 22, according to which POS fees, service charges, grants, profit funds will be spent on personal welfare.
Sources say that the officers will get an allowance of up to 40 thousand rupees per month in the name of headquarters support allowance, while they will be allowed to buy equipment worth up to 30 lakh rupees for temporary accommodation.
According to the sources, the senior officers will also be given rent of residence up to 3 lakhs per month while they will also get house rent subsidy, fuel subsidy, scholarship for children’s education.
