The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Tuesday challenged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) petition challenging the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as Punjab Chief Minister (CM), ARY News reported.
According to the details, the SC registry has returned the petition filed by Asad Umar, executive director of PTI. The petitioner points to the lack of reference to issues of public importance in this case.
This organization also objected to the petitioner’s failure to go to the relevant forums and added that he did not provide any proof that Asad Umar was the general secretary of the party.
Further, the SC registry objected that the caretaker Prime Minister (CM) cannot be a political party under Article 248 of the Constitution.
