Pakistan’s information minister said on Monday that the visit of President Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Pakistani capital Islamabad, which was scheduled for today, has been postponed “due to weather conditions”.

Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed was scheduled to enter Islamabad on a one-day trip to meet Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif.

However, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said Monday afternoon that the meeting has been postponed to another date.

Aurangzeb announced in a statement: Due to weather conditions, today’s planned visit of the President of Pakistan, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been postponed.

His Highness was supposed to visit Pakistan today to discuss the friendship and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, as well as strengthening relations in various fields.

The President of the United Arab Emirates arrived in Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan on a personal visit on January 25. Prime Minister Sharif welcomed him at Rahim Yar Khan Airport and then a meeting was held between the two leaders.

According to a statement from Prime Minister Sharif’s office, the two men discussed mutual concerns at the meeting. Sheikh Mohammad assured that his country “will always stand by Pakistan”. His comments came after the UAE announced that it would return $2 billion of existing deposits in the country. Central Bank of Pakistan

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said that the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has asked the government of Pakistan, which has been actively seeking foreign financial aid from allies and multilateral organizations, to address the ongoing economic crisis in the South Asian country. to manage agreed to lend another $1 billion to help it.
