There is a risk of the new variant of corona spreading in China also coming to Pakistan.
The coronavirus, or COVID-19, is inciting panic for a number of reasons. It’s a new virus, meaning no one has immunity.It is highly contagious, meaning it spreads fast. Its novelty means that scientists aren’t completely sure as to how it behaves since they have very little history to go on.
Officials of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) say that there is a risk of a new variant of Corona in Pakistan due to the opening of the lockdown in China and free traveling, but Pakistan is fully prepared to control any new variant of Corona. Yes, in the past also new variants of Corona came which were controlled by timely action.
Officials said that the risk is now low due to the anti-Corona vaccine, 90 percent of the population eligible for the Corona vaccine in Pakistan has completed vaccination, while 95 percent of the population has received at least one dose of the vaccine.
China has assured Pakistan and other South Asian nations of its continued cooperation in fighting the Covid-19
Corona Virus SYMPTOMS
It can take up to 14 days for symptoms of coronavirus to appear. The main symptoms to look out for are:
Fever – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature). It is a common sign and also may appear in 2-10 days if you affected.
Coughing – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
Shortness Of Breath – Around 1 out of every 6 people who get COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
