Every year in Great Britain, military competitions called “Exercise Cambrian Patrol” are held in which military forces of about 140 countries of the world, including the United States, India and Israel, participate.
These exercises consist of 7 different steps. In which the soldiers are equipped with all military equipment and have to cover a difficult journey of 50 miles or 80 kilometers in 48 hours without breathing or sleeping.
The weight of these military equipment is about 60 pounds ie about 28 kg. A troop has a total of 8 soldiers.
The route is a very circuitous and difficult route consisting of forests, 249 hills and a difficult desert belt. It also involves crossing a very difficult river. It also has defensive firing test. Apart from toughness, intelligence is also tested.
It is called the world’s toughest patrol test and the world’s biggest military competition.
These competitions were started 40 years ago. But in 2006, Britain also included the forces of other countries in these competitions. After which it turned into international competitions.
Countries around the world send their best commandos for these competitions, but despite this, 30% of the soldiers do not complete this distance.
However, ever since the Pakistan Army started participating in this world’s largest military exercise, it has left behind all the forces of the world.
During the last 12 years, Pakistan Army has become the most gold medal winning army in these competitions and has been winning continuously for the last few years.
The toughest competition of these competitions was in 2017, in which the conditions were worsened due to extremely bad weather and 47% of the world’s best commandos who participated in the competition could not complete the journey. But by the grace of Allah, Pakistan Army won this competition and made the name of Pakistan famous all over the world.
Pakistan Army has been winning international competitions but at that time there was no media coverage. However, since the media started covering it, people have come to know about the capabilities of the Pakistan Army.
In terms of international military competitions, Pakistan Army has a distinct identity around the world and wins most of the competitions.
For example, “Exercise Cameroon Patrol” has been winning continuously for the last three to four years.
