Lt Gen Hasan Azhar Hayat Corps Commander Peshawar during his visit to Mir Ali, the Corps Commander inaugurated Army Public School and also visited Boys Hostel and Pakistan Sweet Home. Pakistan Sweet Home was established in 2017 and currently 96 orphans of Mir Ali and Miran Shah are benefiting from this facility free of cost. The establishment of Army Public School was a public demand of the local people, in which students from the first to the eighth standard will study. The school has a capacity to admit 525 students at a time. Boys Hostel is providing free accommodation to 123 students from adjoining areas.
Corps Commander was the chief guest at the passing out parade of the Basic Military Training Course held at Scouts Training Academy (South) Mir Ali. A total of 1164 recruits of the 31st edition passed out after successful completion of the training.
During his visit to Bara, the Corps Commander attended a Grand Jirga of tribal elders from Tirah, Bagh Maidan, Rajgal, Landi Kotal, Bara, Moola Guri and Jamrud. The Corps Commander while appreciating the sacrifices of the tribals for the establishment of peace in the area, assured that the Pakistan Army will provide all possible help to the local people.
