Rabi Ul Awwal Moon was not sighted in Pakistan on Monday evening!

The third month of the Islamic calendar will start on Wednesday 28th September while the 12th Rabi’ul Awwal will fall on Sunday 9th October. Muslims across the globe observe the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on the 12th of the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

According to a notification of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the Chairman of the Central Ruet e Hilal Committee attended the zonal Zonal Ruet e Hilal Committee Islamabad in the Ministry’s office.

The meeting of the zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees for sighting the crescent of Rabi ul Awal 1444 AH was held today (Monday) in the evening at their respective headquarters.
