A jet carrying Pakistan’s leading business mogul Mian Mansha escaped a possible crash after the pilot skillfully made its safe landing at Lahore Airport on Wednesday.
As per Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources, the plane Nishat-1 met with a mechanical problem as soon as it crossed Afghanistan territory.
Pertinent to note that Mian Mansha was on his way to Turkey aboard on his Nishat-1 plane to join the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The pilot expertly navigated the plane back to Lahore Airport from Afghanistan’s airspace, avoiding a serious collision.
Mian Mansha went to Turkey on the same plane after the plane’s issue was fixed. The incident occurred on Tuesday.
Mian Mansha is representing Pakistan’s business delegation in Turkey on PM Shehbaz’s state trip to Turkey.
Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has urged the business community of Pakistan and Turkey to take the bilateral trade to $5 billion mark within next three years. He was addressing a dinner reception hosted in his honour by President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Rifat Hisarciklioglu in Ankara.
