Saudi Interior Minister responds to the incident
Yesterday’s incident People are connecting with the fact that the incident took place in the premises of the mosque. This is completely wrong. The best security and facilities are available for the visitors who come to visit the holy places. We will not tolerate any negligence on Saudi soil. Pakistan has always been, is and will remain our brother.
Any news regarding imprisonment or fine of its citizens is baseless. It is the duty of the entire Muslim Ummah, not us, to take care of the sanctity of other holy places.
The Ministry asked not to publish fake news in the Pakistani media.
