Heavy rain and hailstones lashed Larkana and Qambar-Shahdadkot districts and their adjoining areas on Wednesday, leading to immediate suspension of electricity supply to the area.
Local Met office recorded 37 millimeter rain with North-Westerly winds. The hailstorm and heavy rain continued for about half an hour, causing inundation in low-lying areas in Larkana city.
Thunderstorm and strong winds were also reported from Moenjodaro.
In Larkana, municipal workers could not pump out water immediately because of electricity suspension.
