China has gifted YLC-8E UHF radars to Pakistan with its inventory in an effort to compete with India’s top ELM-2090U Ultra UHF radars.
Anti-stealth radar can detect F-22 / F-35 stealth jets from 500 km and missiles from 700 km.
It is also called the Terminator of Drones. This radar has made many 5th generation jets useless.
India is nowhere near competing with Pakistan in electronic warfare.
The Pakistan Air Force has added the YLC-8E Ultra High Frequency 3D Phased Array Radar. It specializes in anti-stealth and anti-jamming, and is the world’s first mobile UHF band radar designed to detect early warning of stealth aircraft over long distances of 500-700 km.
